Nawa-do means, "the way of rope"
Nawa Dojo means
"a place to learn the way of rope".

Now that we have covered some of the historical, basic safety and philosophical areas of the Way of Rope, we now move on to some specific basic ties.

These are your basic "katas" or forms.

Most of these turorials were written between 1996 and 2000 in preparation for an illustrated guide that was to have been published in 2001 under the title of "Japanese Rope Art", however life's unfortunate circumstances
put the project on hold.  

This online guide has now been updated for 2005 with many new photos for illustration and a fully illustrated guide is now
being written by Tatu.
